No way man! Living in the suburbs 30 minutes from Minneapolis is perfect. If I were any further it would be in the bumfuck sticks. If I were any closer the area would start to be densely populated.
IME it is a lot easier to get away with "projects" when you are living out of the big city. My town has about 10,000 and it's perfect. Not too busy but enough to the point where the 5-0 doesn't really know too much about what's going on; not to mention there is only 1-2 on duty ever.
He drives right by when my plants are outside and never even flinches.
