Okay if you don't really feel like making it through the whole thing (although you really should find the time to), I think about 42 minutes in is really badass. He starts pointing out the parallels between mathematical fractals and psychedelic hallucinations as well as mandalas and all sorts of historical art.

I started to watch it but it stopped loading after about 3 mins and even when I google the video and try to watch it still stops at 3 mins
ill watch it another time, fascinating so far though

I will watch this for sure!
Fractals are amazing! the fractal is the mathematical model for things that geometry can't describe! at some point during every trip i have, i see an invisible fragmented kaleidoscope fractal face coming in and out of existence on the edges of space around me.
Everything is fractal!

We meandered through Billy’s ritzy neighborhood in the general direction of Jefferson Street. In the lamplight the houses looked identical, grand façade after grand façade of pale gray with black windows, as if for all their monumentality they were nothing but wallpaper, black-and-white prints, two-dimensional murals similar in their deceptive insubstantiality to the gossamer buildings of New Age City. I was struck by the idea that Billy and I, to the extent we existed only in our imaginations, were just as shallow, just as superficial—and equally susceptible to being erased without a trace.
