i think i know what you're trying to describe, but get a better pic.  take a couple steps back and make sure you're focused on the plant, not the wall behind it.  in the mean time, this will be moved to DD

i aways check the ph level with, an indicator its 6.5.

I'm thinking magnesium deficiency?
if so what has magnesium in it?

id raise the PH a little bit more to 7 (ideal is 6.5 - 7.0) soils that are under 7 can cause a little bit of a MG deficiency and it shouldnt happen if you used dolomit lime when you transplanted...an Mg deficiency can be treated by watering with plant epsom salts, but im not 100% sure yet..... is there any rusty lookin spot on the older (lower) leaves? ....how long has this been going on? what is your PPM/TDS/EC level in your runoff because if its high that could have cause this too.....

PPM/TDS/EC levels are the same thing just different measurements......it tells you how concentrated or diluted your nutrients are.....:strokebeard:....i think it may be an Mg dificiency but usually its rare, is the plant getting like more green by the day?....usually it takes like a month to even notice signs of Mg deficiency but to treat Mg feed 2 teaspoons epsom salts to one gallon of water, for a quick result foliar feed with 2 percent epsom salt solution....do that until the symptoms are gone....use a little diluted nute solution for like a week too....next time just add some top quality dolomit lime to your soil before planting....it will help Mg and calcium balance out in the long-run....also raise your solution PH just a tad when watering.....

as in bath salts, hasn't that got other chems in as well?

they appears to be getting more dark green, only the fan leaves though.
the smaller leaves above the top node are lighter.

i would flush a little once just in case.....if its tap water just let the water set out overnight.......then when you feed again dilute it a little.......its better to have too little nutes than too much......raise the ph closer to 7.......

Is the taco'ing happening right under your light? It looks exactly like heat stress to me; are you taking your temps right at the top of the canopy?

I think you are exactly right.  When my MH bulb was a little too close, my plants reacted exactly like yours until I got a fan blowing directly on the bulb itself and raised the light an inch.  After 1-2 days the leaves laid back down flat like they should have.  I think they fold up like that so they aren't absorbing as much heat because there is no flat surface to really absorb the light/heat.  It kind of gets reflected when the leaves form a "V"...  I don't think it's any kind of deficiency.  Just too much light/heat.  Move your lights 1-2" away from the tops and I am almost positive this will resolve your situation.  Good luck!

definately not heat stress because the lights are at least 200mm away from the tops of the two biggest plants and 400mm away from the smaller two.

and the smaller two have quite bad taco, but the bigger two have bad fish hooks.

its not the heat, i got a fan in there and all.

do what i said above

before you even use anything, the salts where a just to make sure thing, and you could have bought them at a local store so you didnt have to pay shipping......they could come in handy in the future also.......has it gotton worse/better/stayed the same? usually purple on the stem isnt bad at all unless it goes up through the veins of the leaves.....
