The Ballsack's CFL ladies. (PICS!) * 1
    #251624 - 07/19/09 10:43 PM (15 years, 8 months ago)

Got about 250W (real watts) of CFL on two ladies and a buncha seedlings

I've got an indica phenotype of some Trainwreck that's growing christmas tree style, about 15" tall, and a more sativa pheno that I decided to scrog due to how stretchy it was. I wanted to keep it tied down to get better coverage with my CFL's.

So enough with the talking! some pics!

The seedlings; F2 of Master Kush x Orange Crush. This is kind of an experiment to see how things go when flowering straight from seed... never done it before :tongue:

Scroggy McScraggles;

Sexy Pants;

One of the many budsites of the sativa

So i hadn't noticed this yesterday, but apparently while I was gone this weekend my roomie didn't notice that one of the growth points stretched and touched the light.
This is only one of 4 main points on the scrogged plant, and it has a bunch of smaller budsites growing from lower on the main stems. Should I just cut off the burned part and hope the lower buds continue developing, or should I just leave it and see if it recovers?

And a couple more shots of the developing bud on the indica baby

2 weeks later, I come bearing more pictures!

day after tomorrow will be the beginning of the 6th week of 12/12. the nug on my main indica plant is close to a foot long, kind of hilarious, didn't mean for it to stretch so hardcore, but it's a mean ass nugget.

Scroggy Mcgee:

The seedlings, most are just starting to show sex. I've got one confirmed female and one already dead male. It's looking like I'm gonna be chopping two more tomorrow, but I'm gonna let you guys verify before I do anything rash :discorex:

First male, I'm about 99.9% on this one

This one might still be a bit too early to tell, but it's not looking good....

And a couple with a flash to better illustrate the crystaliness. :grin:

And a lower nug

pretty excited to see how sugary these ladies get come harvest time

more pics, if nothing else than to log some progress for myself.

I'm starting a dosage of Humboldt Gravity tonight, so I'd like to have these pics to compare the progress too :smile:

Also, does anyone know what's happening with those spots on the leaves in the last two pictures? they just started showing up in the last week or so, but I'm not sure what the deal is..... Mg deficiency?

here ya go, I first fed this lady gravity at 1ml per gallon for 3 days, starting 6 days ago. then 1 day of flush, and 2 days of 1/4 strength nutes. check out how much larger this cola is already... it's a noticeable difference.

Before on the left, today on the right

pretty epic increase in density for only 6 days IMO

how much longer do you guys think it'll be until harvest?

well there's a decent amount turning orange on the lower buds that are growing on side branches, so that's why I'm getting so excited (haha) but you're right about the main cola... only about 6 or 7 dead pistils out of about 1000 :lol:

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUuuUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkk

just noticed about 3 or 4 of the nugs on the very very ubottom of t he plant (under all the fanleaves and shite) have been pollinated. I can't see this on the main cola or any of the nice side buds I've posted pictures of, so I'm hoping I just got a couple pollinated sites and not the whole plant.

Another week down, more pictures on the way right now :smile:

getting close, I'm thinking I'm going to do one more week on the non-trained plant, and then a week of flushing and then harvest. the scrogged one still needs more time, the very first of it's pistils are starting to turn, so about 3-4 more weeks I suppose. I'm excited for this one, I was expecting it to yield considerably less than the other one, but it's already got close to an ounce on it, and with a month left it's looking like it'll be a good harvest. Plus, it smells like lemons :crazy2:

you can still see a bit of the damage that was done when I burned it, but it's still looking pretty good.... seems to be rather unfazed by the stress.

Now on to the other one :smile:
the bottom nugs are starting to mature very nicely, check out the sexy swollen calyxes :naughty:

this is right at the base of the main cola... it's just such a frosty wonderland I couldn't help but take some pics

I'm only harvesting that one plant, the scrogged one needs another 2-3 weeks

well the density is pretty good as far as I can tell. I clipped a little tester side nug this morning, and the bastard weighs nearly 9 grams fresh (after trim).... we'll have to see when it dries, but looks to be pretty dense.
