I can't answer that, because I see them explode on my TV set when I watch various horror movies, but that never stopped me from getting dosed.

Good point. Traumatic experiences could result in horrible trips. In some cases it might be helpful though. People who have never tripped before may be able to go back to traumatic experiences which they had before locked out of their mind for some sort of closure.

but seriously i know this dude who worked on oil derrecks and rigs for a while like 10 years and he claims to have seen a few people die disgusting deaths..... including being sucked into a spooling machine.... having a 3 ton block dropped on someone and him exploding everywhere, and just people getting shit dropped on thier heads. pretty sure he tripped after seeing that shit but he doesnt anymore

My brother got shot in the head in Iraq, saw his friend get killed by the same exact bullet, and he decided he wanted to eat 1/4 oz of my mushrooms when he got out of the hospital. He had a really bad trip, and freaked out. He's fine now, but I don't think he will eat mushrooms again.

I was at a gang shooting at a party once and watched about ten people get popped in front of me and it didn't really effect me so much. I know that's much different from people exploding in front of you. I don't think it bothered me because I didn't know the people who got popped but I don't know I think it really depends more on the person and their experiences and personalty.
