Hey people. So I have a grow chamber who's dimensions are 4' wide, 2' deep, and 4' tall. I am planning on using a 400 watt HPS light and grow 6 plants. I also plan on attaching a DIY carbon filter in front of my exhaust fan. How many CFM's should the fan have to be able to pull all the air through the carbon filter? thanks a lot guys
Look up how to measure CFM(Cubic Feet per Minute). If you honestly can't figure it out(There are sites that will do it for you), but if you honestly can't figure it out I will help.
It's better that you know how so that you don't have to ask this question for every room. I don't mean this in a bad way just better to understand something rather than just having the answers.
Check out this thread. About 1/2 to 3/4 of the way down you'll find the formula to calculate necessary CFM's for any size room.
