Shelf Growing
    #242836 - 06/25/09 10:10 AM (15 years, 4 months ago)

Now that I have a couple successful outdoor grows under my belt (and now that I moved and don't have a real backyard anymore), I've decided to start some indoor plants.

I was hoping some of you could direct me to good guides on how to shelf grow (ie what lamps to use, hydro vs soil, how to arrange the shelves, when to start flowering, common mistakes made by newbies, etc). I am planning on doing a lot of reading for the next couple weeks and learning how (and why) everything works, then get all my shit together and start a grow log sometime soon after.

Any help or advice you could give me would be awesome.

Thanks,
Zip

well bro get ya some seeds with good genes, and grow ya a couple of "mother" plants- you'll cut clones from these- root em for about 2 weeks and then flower them or make them into mothers- . For shelf growing i'd reccomend CFLs or fluro tubes. seeing how ya now how to grow try and read up on SOG and how to clone properly. in my opinion its ALOT easier to grow indoors then out as u have control over most variables.

Sweet. Btw, where did you get the TechnaFlora Recipe for success starter kit? That looks like a good deal if it comes with cloning gel and everything.

Any place I can get it online?

I got it at the local Brew N Grow. You'd be suprised, you may have a grow shop near you. I had no idea until a buddy told me. Otherwise, If you have a trustworthy friend that already knows your growing, see if you can get them shipped to his house. But Never, never have anything for your grow room, sent to your grow house. Unless you grow legally, but at this point, it is still not advised if possible.
