Damn oh well at least there was extra haha and they should have a very good germ rate. Of like 50 0f them that I germed this year 48 of them popped and grew with vigerous growth. The lr#2 take a little bit more time to pop but they usually do a few days later. probably quicker if you very carefully crack the edge of the shell with finger nail clippers.

I have had great luck with just putting them straight into jiffy pellets. this way you dont risk damaging the tap roots while planting them.

Haha sorry, dont mean to tell ya what to do. Just wanted to give what little advice I have on the two strains. I'll probably just sit back and enjoy the show now. I just got mine under 400 watt so hopefully they will be doing better. They stretched out a bit to 5 inches cause I didn't get them under lighting quickly enough. Hopefully they will get thicker stems quickly. I'll start a grow log on the bbxths and lr#2 in a few days also.

I absolutely love my digital 400 watt switchable ballast. Just screw in a HPS or Metal Hallide and plug it in.
For the money its not really worth it to spend money on cfl or the t5's, just spend the little extra for at least a 400 watt. I get my stuff from HTG supply and they always take care of me if I have a problem.
This is the one I have http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=45667 I also have the euro reflector that has the inline fan ability and glass, and also a batwing reflector thats never been used so If you get a HID system and need a reflector I can send you that one if you want to pay shipping. Its not heavy at all.

They got really stretchy and some are falling over but I'm hoping the light will fix that soon. Just barely found it while unpacking.

I posted a link to it, Its only $169 and to make it so I dont more energy with it I just dont use much electricity like I normally would. I now have a gas stove and gas water heater. I take showers and baths with lights off, Lately I havnt been using the ac, just been using a fan in the window with a highly reflective foam sheet in the rest of the window to reflect light and heat back out. Plus its only 400 watt so not like it adds on much to the electric bill anyways.

I have a 30x jewelers loupe that I got on ebay for like 7 bucks from china. I just wait till I no longer see clear trichomes and start seeing amber ones and then harvest. Most people wait till half and half amber and cloudy though.

The pistils are still very much alive, when you get closer to harvest they should be dying off and turning a darker color. anywhere from red orange to brown. But just because they do that doesnt mean its time to harvest cause Ive gone through multiple sets of pistils before harvesting before.

Have you been using different type of nutrients for flowering than you were when it was vegging? Id personally also try a 11:13 light schedule but others might tell you differently. also definitely balance the ph.

I have used miracle grow in the past with decent results. The organic miracle grow is another story though. Seems like every single time I use organic miracle grow I get the worse cases of spider mites ever! But when I use normal compost/potting soil I get none.

I just barely moved mine outside, had no choice but to do it right away without giving them a few hours a day to adjust. So I guess we are in the same boat on if its going to fuck them up or not. You might want to get them actually into the ground asap. The sun will completely dry those cups out in like an hour or two and that could cause a lot of damage to the plants and even kill them a few hours later. Just speaking from my own experience though so others may say differently.

Yeah thats what I'm worried about also but If it happens then there is always next year. too much is going on right now in my life that they would surely die indoors after a few more days of what was happening with them. and to top it all off my grow spot that is like 20 miles deep deep in the mountains where there is no trails or roads of any kind, when I went there a few days ago there was two people riding horses around the area. basically its desert and sage brush and then a small little crevice in the land has lush green life and in the very center is an empty area that my plants are in and when I went there as I walked out I saw 2 people riding horses and they saw me but I had a hiking hat and clothes on and a plant identification book in my hand so I hope they dont think anything of it and investigate. But either way I'm not going back for a month or two now. My freedom is more important than some really dank smoke.
