I absolutely love my digital 400 watt switchable ballast. Just screw in a HPS or Metal Hallide and plug it in.

For the money its not really worth it to spend money on cfl or the t5's, just spend the little extra for at least a 400 watt. I get my stuff from HTG supply and they always take care of me if I have a problem.

This is the one I have http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=45667
I also have the euro reflector that has the inline fan ability and glass, and also a batwing reflector thats never been used so If you get a HID system and need a reflector I can send you that one if you want to pay shipping. Its not heavy at all.

They got really stretchy and some are falling over but I'm hoping the light will fix that soon. Just barely found it while unpacking.

You can see them closer to the female hairs.

Again you can see them as bumps closer to the center of the plant.

does this ph kit have more than just that card ....if so then use vinegar to lower the ph to around 6.5-7.0 for soil....

Update I moved them to some cups because a few of them started poking roots out of the pellets. These "girls" seem to be fast growing.

Kind of a cool sun pic, yes I know there are power lines but no one I have ever seen goes down here.

Well here they are....and shit it looks like bugs got to them. Any suggestions? They are also looking pretty stretched but I'm not as worried about that as the bugs. Any ideas on when to plant them in the ground?

So as you can tell they are having some problems with bugs mainly....Please look through the pictures and tell me what I am doing wrong. Some of them seem to have some leaf disorders and some of them seem to be doing OK. Any advice would be appreciated. I think some of the issue with the bugs is that I have heard the reason why the bugs swarm to little plants is because they have more sugars in them. So I'm expecting that after they grow a little bigger the bugs wont bother them as much. Also we have sprayed them with a bug repellent but every time we do this it rains ha ha go figure. Kinda like when you wash your car and then it rains right after. Its almost guaranteed.

Okay I work for a company that handles all of the available camera systems. More than likely if the cops set up any camera system they probably put one in that has infrared capabilities so they can see at night time. This is good for you. Grab a cell phone with a built in camera, grab a remote control for your tv and go into the bathroom with the lights off and turn the camera part of the phone on and point the remote control at the lens and push a button. That led on the front of the remote that never lights up is infrared. You cant see it with your own eyes but cameras see it very very well and its very bright to them. When a camera has infrared night vision (which almost all use infrared cause otherwise its out of everyones budget) it has like 20+ IR LED's on it pointing the same way as the camera is pointing so it lights up the area to be as bright as day for it. So all you would need to do is late at night hike around the area in a round about way slowly getting closer to your grow site using your camera phone to survey the area looking for very bright slightly purple light coming from the surrounding trees. If you see this get the fuck out of there as quickly as possible. If you really feel crafty you could always make a helmet or something that covers your head with IR LED's with them pointing in every direction in hopes to blind the cameras.  :tinfoil:

Below is a picture of what my camera phone saw when i pointed my remote at it and pushed a button. The ones used in cameras are quite a bit brighter on actual security cameras though so they produce enough light for the cameras to see for a good 30 feet or so.

good luck and remember some things just arnt worth going to jail for. and some things are *goes to jailbait thread* haha jk. and of course if you dont see any cameras, dig up, and replant after finding a better location.

cool huh? :P

also triptonic I just went to my spot that I havnt been to in like a month cause of those 2 people riding horses in the area and seeing things... It hasnt rained a single drop since the day I put these in the ground and I havnt been back to the spot till today so i figured they would all be dead... I brought 6 gallons of water up with me to feed anything that might still be alive lol and this is what I found.

15 are still alive!
