Beautiful pictures man! Here are some intimate snap's of the newest strain I've been working with, "The White Pimpslap". A cross between The White and Pimpslap (which is a Thunderfuck/Diesel cross). It's quite honestly, one of the most potent strains I've smoked, frosted to all hell.

I'm so fucking jealous of all your guys' purple strains. I know, I know "but purple is just a novelty"...but when you've only had/grown/seen it a handful of times in your life, its a welcome change
Beautiful man.

Why should that mean it isn't real?

Agreed! I want something purple! Had / seen it twice in my life! Hope my berry bomb and purple haze do me well!

that's a true shame right there. I LOVE the terpenes in purple weed. There's so many tastes possible in weed. you should definitely grow some purple weed soon.

Its pretty difficult to obtain from seed IME. A 5 or 10 pack doesn't always contain a purple pheno, and pretty rarely an intense purple like that.

Ever grown dj shorts flo, or blueberry, or Pakistan Chitral Kush? I think those are heavily puprle strains. I wonder if you'd get a true purp pheno with just a bag of 10 seeds. Keeping your temperatures low will help a lot. I do wonder how the cold temperatures effect the ultimate flavor of the bud. I'm tempted to think that a lower growing temperature could increase production of the purple and similar terpenes. i have no evidence, just a thought.

I always thought lower temps bringing out purple was just a sales pitch? Do we know there's a causation?

I think I can vouch for that.
I've ran Diesel Ryder indoors and out, grown it a number of times.
Both the girls I left out last year purpled. One much more significantly than the other. There was almost a frost before halloween a number of times, very cold nights. Never saw it indoors.

When I recently added a 600w vertical MH to my room, the plants nearest to it have been getting purple very steadily. My temps are not any lower than before, a little higher actually.
I'm not disputing the lower temp thing, btw (observed that myself). I wonder if it has something to do with gas exchange (with photons and shiz) and chlorophyll production or maintenance? What ever that may be, might account for the temp influence and also for the light quality influence I observed.
