OK, here are some pics. One of the hogs was around 150lbs, the other 250+. You can gauge their size from the distance from the wheel well to the end of the tail-gate. All were killed with a 17 and died instantly. Nothing inhumane if your a good shot.
Anyway, enough about guns, this is about fishing and the fish pics are coming next. In about an hour or so.
EDIT: Sorry if anyone is offended by these pics but you have no idea what these animals are capable of. They will fuck a 1000 acre ranch up in no time. They will rut up your yard so bad you can't mow it, eat crops, and shit all over the place. The fuck like rabbits and have big litters. You could put 3 boars and 3 sals on a farm and in 2 years you'd have over 200 pigs. I could be wrong but I think they are able to reproduce when they are 7 or 8 months old. That is why they are trying to pass a law where they can be hunted from helocopters (I'm not kidding).
Anyone who has crops knows these things are from hell. LOL

It was giving me shit during upload for not being a supporter. That isn't even a 3rd of the pics. Also, that fishing hole is about 1/3rd the size of the one behind my grandparents house. I just didn't want to go over there because they make me sit and eat / talk for hours. I wanted to fish, not talk.

I've got the Steven's 17 w/ nikon prostaff / bipod. 2 Colt Pythons that are pristine. 1 Colt 1911 Navy Commemorative with gold enlay on the slide, hammer, and trigger. A Ruger p345 (2004 handgun of the year). 2 Colt Cobras 2" snubs. S&W 19, 25-3, and 25. All chambered in 357. A Marlin L/A 45/70 (kicks like fuck). A Browning sweet sixteen unfired and several other browning A5's. 1 Browning High Power 9mm. Beretta PX4 and 92FS. A Bushmaster AR15, Colt AR15 SP1 Sporter, Keltec 380, and much more. My entire closet is full of guns.
Oh yeah, and my favorite pistol... a Sig P229 Equinox (same gun issued to most FBI agents). It's a 40 cal but came with a 357 sig barrel. I don't like the 357 auto though, it's a little jumpy bastard, kinda like a 9mm on steroids. If I think of anymore I'll post. I'm kinda iffy about posting a pic of my collection online. Here is one of my cobras I had previously uploaded though.

I going to the range with my buddy tomorrow to sight in his new AR. Brining my toys too. Got a Savage thumbhole22LR, Sig Mosquito 22LR, Marlin 700 22mag, Glock 21C 45 ACP, and my favorite, my Savage 10FP Tactical .308 By far my Favorite rifle, but when I take the ladies with, they cant seem to handle it, even though the recoil isn't that bad. How do the 17hmr compare to your 22mag. I always liked my mag, and had it before 17hmr was mainstream.
The 17 blows the mag away in velocity and accuracy. At 100 yards it only drops .2 inches according to ballistics charts. At 200 yards it drops less than in inch. It is a wicked fucking bullet. I've had several people tell me it was a baby 308. The ammo is a little more than 22 mag, but man, it is worth it. I shot a duck 300+ yards away with it. My scope has a bullet drop indicator in it. I'm not supposed to shoot ducks at the ranch, but I thought "there is no way in hell I'll hit one. I put it on the 2nd dot and bam. The duck just went limp. I highly recommend the Steven's 17. It has a 22" bull barrel.
If you want to spend $700 or $800 you can get a Ruger 10/17. They are hard as fuck to find. You can probably find one on gunbroker. They are sweet as hell and just as reliable and smooth as the 10/22.
