Even in the most severe pandemic situations (think black plague) a viris isnt going to kill everyone to the point of "extinction". i think a global pandemic that would kill anywhere between 25_50% of earths human population would actually end up being a positive for those who survived. imagine how much that would help global climate change, and other issues that are compounded because of how many people are living today. not sayin i want it to happen, i just think it would be really interesting to watch the rebirth. ive heard certain historians attribute the black plague with sparkin the renaissance in its wake.. anyone have any stimulating theories??
