sensi star phenos

someone obtained a clone from a lifelong grower who doesn't believe in strains. they swear all they have ever had is sensi star but this strain is awfully different from any sensi star they have had in the past. though the plant isnt producing seeds, is it possible that stress to the initial clones may have degraded the sensi stars genetics? or is it just not sensi star?

has anyone ever encountered a sensi star pheno with a very sweet smell. not the diarrhea smell usually associated with sensi. and also a very very light resin-less fruity taste, which is also very different from any SS they ever had. another noticable difference is in how the plant stretched, previous sensi star grows stayed fairly shrubby.
