Well first of all, whatever Nitrogen-rich fertilizer you were using (if you were) to veg, stop using it now. Now you want a fertilizer with high Phosphorous and Potassium. So something along the lines of 0-5-5 would be a good choice. Also, the fertilizer should have instructions on the proper mixture, i.e. 1tsp/gallon, or X amount per gallon per 1ft of plant height, etc. They're all different.

Also, since you had them on 20/4 cycle, they have already gone into flowering. Not necissarily a bad thing, but they will finish up sooner than the usual time around October.
please explain. 20/4 hour wouldnt put them into flower.
also, if they were outdoor and started to flower, the plants wouldnt finish early at all, they would eventually reveg and at the normal time.

Each day i see improvements, so many more white hairs are appearing. Not sure what caused them to flower early but its fine with me.

I agree, they won't finish early at all, the buds are going to be wasted. Once that light schedule catches up its going to reveg, lose all flowers, and then continue to veg until the normal flowering time of Oct. - Sept. It's not necessarily a problem unless you are counting on harvesting early summer. Im sorry but that just isnt going to happen unless you are on/near the equator and have a local strain... just thinkin...

finishing flowering does not depend on when you start the plants, but rather when the hours of light/dark begin to reach 12/12. this initiates flowering, which you hope finishes in time before the first deep frost.

No i was just confused that my plants would be wasted...doesnt make sense to me. I have had them in the 12/12 for at least a month and 1/2. The last frost is like in Oct/Nov so everything should work out fine. NC!! smoke-a-blunt!
