Sheesh you guys are louzy, none of the replies suggesting I man up or whatever helped me. Thanks to those who did support me and thanks to everyone else because in the end theyr'e intentions were well and they were doing what they thought was best for me. But for future reference save the offensive remarks for OTD.

I seriously can't believe this post. less than 2 days without smoking and you're talking about aches and pains? You only smoked 5 cigs a day man! I've literally seen people smoke 20-30 cigs a day and quit with very very little problem. you're just psyching yourself out

yeah, 5 cigs a day is nothing.

i tried quitting once, i was at a pack and a half a day (i've cut back to a little over half a pack now, couldn't manage to quit completely) and that was hell. i got extremely aggressive towards everyone. i was a total bitch. i lasted all of 2 days and broke down and had a cigarette and haven't tired again since.

at least i cut back ... i need to cut back more ... i need to just quit, i can't afford to be smoking anymore.

I know these feelings all to well.

I have tried to quit a time or two now.

But it never stickes.

NC keeps raising the taxes on them as well making it harder to afford.

Ive also developed a system to prevent me from relapsing, its fool proof.

Automatic Negative thoughts are so much easier to shrug off now.

Guys you can do it too just send me a message and I'll share my revelations/realizations on addiction and the actual quitting process and how to stick with it; and don't let those remarks on "5 a day aint nothin" throw you off. I was just as strung out as the next guy(not counting dippers).
