3 years experience as network administrator / IT support. other than that, no college degree yet (i'm 20), but i'm pretty good with growing
i'm not really interested in anything i can do as a job, and i'm really only qualified for teh job i'm already doing. kind of a catch-22

If I was 20 and wanted to change careers, I would look into something you can do while going to school. IT work does get old after awhile though.
I know how you feel.

Do something physical, something where you work up a sweat... local nursery or something if you like plants, or maybe some landscaping. Everyone should do some manual labor at some point, it makes you feel clean and tuned in all at the same time. I've done retail management up until this summer, and now I climb around on rooftops...pay is fanfuckingtastic, I sweat my balls off, and beer or a bowl is exponentially more rewarding after a truly hard day's work. I'm not doing this for life, but I say experience everything you can while you're young enough to enjoy it and young enough to make a change when you feel its time. Also on my list of jobs I wanna do: fishing boat crew, out at sea, no sleep, sore muscles, open ocean...SO AWESOME.

I feel you, man. I used to get paid doing surveys online, or testing products. It was easy cash, but man it was fucking boring!
I prefer the social atmosphere of working at a restaurant or smoothie shop or a coffee shop. Though the pay won't be as high as your current salary, maybe the social interaction with your fellow man will help boost your morale?

It doesnt get any better. Keep the job. Learn how to better manage your servers so you only ahve to deal with big issues.
If you hate SQL than you should become more familiar with it. When everything is up and running life is good.
