I have a torrent that I downloaded of a few movies and such. One of them says I don't have the right codec to support the particular file. The audio plays fine their is just no video with it. Any help would be awesome.

download vlc media player it will play anything!

Thanks man, I actually just found the appropriate codec for it. I'll have to give that other player a try though

It's been a while since I did much downloading but I was using isohunt.com last. I never really looked into any others though and there may be much better for all I know.
Another good free player to pic up is GOM. I've had to use it to play a few files that even VLC wouldn't. I can't remember if VLC does or not but GOM also plays flash files. Very nice if you like to save youtube videos etc...

I can hook u up with a demonoid invite if you want. its a private tracker with better quality files however its database is somewhat limited because of its restricted membership
