I get this thing every so often it seems , like 3 years where i feel purposeless, and i feel it today, has anyone ever felt this way, like we are just here, no purpose at all i have never dropped syd, should I? will it enlighten me as to another reason?

I think the purpose of life is to enjoy it.... people who are always bummed out all the time and "think" life's miserable are going to have miserable lives....where-as people who "think" life's great are going to have fun, positive experiences....any reality is an opinion...two people could be doing the same thing and one person could be absolutely miserable doing it, while the other person is having a blast....is your cup half empty or half full? I guess it depends on how you look at the situation....its all in the mind...

There is no single defined purpose for living, save perhaps our innate drive toward procreation of the species. The bottom line is, any meaningful purpose to life is individually fashioned. The purpose you create for yourself will not be the same as the purpose I have created for myself.
