I've had some of these in my gallery for a while and thought I would post em up here for everyone to enjoy. I will also update this when new herb is obtained. I just obtained a strain called Obama Kush and it is fucking Dynamite! Anyone ever heard of it? I haven't taken pictures of it yet, but I'll do that sometime soon. It looks great too.

I haven't posted any recent pot pictures. Here's some grand daddy purp that we bought in Phx for $350 an oz.
This stuff here was also acquired in phoenix. It is the densest pot i have ever seen. It's like picking apart particle board. tastes great too. I wish I knew the grower of this one.
These next two pictures were the bud that I grew for my very first attempt. 
This one is a bit too dark. I will hopefully have a cure for that in a few months. It was shot with a 105mm macro lens with 55mm of extension tubes on it. It's hard to get a good shot with the built in lens when you're so close to your subject with such a long lens. The lens ends up blocking the light.

four months later I get some more herb! These first two are from a dispensary in the bay area. not sure of the name. it's purple urkle and some GDP.
 
I've also got 6 more strains from a dispensary in CO. Plus like 7 strains that a buddy of mine grew in CO. I will have pictures of all of them in a few days.

Maybe its the pics, but I'm not as blown away by dispensiary nugs as I thought I'd be. I got some Alaskan Ice, or so says my dude, but regardless its super funky and incredibly strong and I'm on the opposite coaste from cali.. Would have pics but my batteries are dead so I need to get more.
Def looks like fire though, just thought it'd be more.... perfect, seems like theres a good amt of manicuring that could have been done and the colors are a bit dark for my liking.. outdoor I assume?

BTW I did have VERY similar purp urk and GDP recently that is similar to both of your pics. I did get a batch that was surprisingly lighter, not as vibrant purple, but much more diesely smelling than candy. like i said, pics but no batteries... soon I hope..

God damn, i haven't posted in here in two months!? That sucks cause that was the time when I definitely SHOULD have been posting in here. I stopped when i got my medical card. I was buying 4 grams of two different kinds of bud every week up to this point. I bought this one yesterday. It's BOG's Sour Bubble. Grown by bog himself. The bud looks great but it didn't blow me or my buddy away with the aesthetics or the actual high.

I went to two dispensaries yesterday. I was really looking forward to it as both places I was going to had two strains on their menus that I really wanted. When I got there I was told they didn't have the Strawberry Romulan i wanted. So my buddy and I split 4 grams of Purple Cat Piss (Purple Kush x cat piss) and it's really really good too. Then we drove down the street to the next place where I was looking forward to buying more Super Jack. When we got there they had sold out of it as well. So I split another eighth with my buddy and we split those four grams between Space Queen and 2012 OG. I'm not too sure what to think about all these strains except that what I was wanting to get was better than these. Still it's great to smoke new strains. Earlier this week i was super excited to go to a dispensary with the intent on getting a Strawberry Romulan (S. Cough x rom), but they were out of it, which SUCKS cause it was some fucking potent shit. It put me flat on my ass. I couldn't do anything. That was the straw rom. that i had had before and was hoping to get. That happened 3 times this week where a dispensary had some bud I really really wanted that I had tried before but they all three sold out right before i got there and one of those trips was a trip to san francisco to get that damn gemstone. That shit is phenomenal too. I didn't get any strawberry romulan, no super jack, and no gemstone. But to answer your question, i really can't right now. I've been awake for a couple hours now and it's time to have my first smoke of the day. It'll be strawberry cough. I'll report back with the high on it. The bud structure of that plant was also phenomenal. I guess some old lady grows a few of these strains out in her tents in san fran. I want to meet her. sorry for the uberlong reply to a simple question, oh and sorry for not even answering the question! yet....

hmmmmm, i think I would rate the taste as a 7/10. That's a pretty good score too. It had overtones of a sweet taste, but they weren't prominent in my palette. The high is ok, not the best. I feel like I can still do anything I would normally do. I was really taken back by this strain in its bud formation. I wish i had a picture of the display nugs they were using. Overall, it's probably not a strain I would seek out again.

I haven't smoked Strawberry Cough since--shoot I can't hardly remember but if I had to venture a guess I'd say it was circa 2007. Picked up a sample from Harborside in the Bay Area and I would say that your review sounds spot on. The visual appeal of the bud was quite awesome, and while it is surely a potent and decently flavored bud, it's not out of this world on either of those later two metrics.

This is a strain called Bob Marley. I was tripping on Sunday night and had this bud in my hand and was about seconds away from taking a picture of it under the MH light, but it went out literally right before i was able to snap a picture. It's a friends bud so I snapped this picture the next night under a high pressure sodium light, hence the color.
Favorites thus far....Purple Gush Wreck, Durban Poison, Gemstone, Pink Champagne.
The purple gush wreck really put me on my ass. The Durban poison is an AMAZING smelling/tasting strain. The gemstone has a magnificent high that'll convince you that you're God. The Pink Champagne constantly reminds me of how much i love this plant AND that it comes from the ground. It has a very earthy taste to it that is second to none.

I seen u had the platinum cookies how was that strain... I would like to try the cookies but since i don't live in a Med state an the clones of the real deal cookies fetching up to 3000 on Craigslist looks like I'm in for a long wait lol...oh well

WHAT!? Someone is selling clones of Platinum cookies for 3 large? that's fuckin' crazy! The strain itself wasn't something that sticks out in my head in terms of the high. I do remember the taste being really nice. But I don't remember too much about the high. I should really be documenting that information as well.

Damn,if only we got bud remotely that good,and you would think being in a State that is just right behind California and Hawaii in Marijuana cultivation would have some good buds,but that ain't the case around my neck of the woods
