 Has anyone here ever Smoked Themselves Sober?

My best friend told one time, while smoking some chronic buds ALL DAY, at one point near the end of the day, he hit the bong again and "smoked himself sober". He said he was sooo stoned that he felt normal again, as if he never left baseline.
Has anyone here ever experienced or know someone who has experienced this bizarre phenomena?

ben there. many times, its because your body builds such a tolerence that you feel normal.

yeah i have on numerous occasions.. moslty after smoking alot of mid's or reg.. never after headies

yeah happens sometimes if i've been chiefin a LOT in 1 day, and it can happen with higher quality weed, i experience it more with that usually.

Yes I have, After smoking marijuana all day, Wake up smoking, Eat smoke, everything smoking by the end of the day its just like I'm wasting my pot.
But, The next morning I get the highest this might sound crazy but, I pre roll my blunt in the night before so as soon as my eyes pill open I'm smoking my blunt even before I take my morning piss!!!

Very much the same here. Way to regulate at least.
I've only smoked myself sober when I've smoked so much that being stoned was sober and normal to me. That I've done a plenty.

I used to be able to but since I can't smoke but maybe once a month I won't be able to do it again...But you can bet your ass in about 6 months I'll be able to do it.

Gotta start out slow. Take a single bowl hit or two in the morning, blaze a joint after lunch with some friends, then pack the bong and crack a beer at night.

Vapes don't have the same narcotic/stoned/sleepy effect that bongs seem to give.
But I usually only hit a bowl or two a few times throughout the day. than at nite smoke myself sleepy

I smoke smoke smoke smoke all day long pretty much, If I smoke the same kinda weed all the time though its like it doesn't get me stoned after a while. I will be baked for like 20 mins but then its back down to baseline its weird, but I can get different weed it doesn't even have to be better and it will get me high as a kite

If you smoke that much then you don't get high anyway. You only think that you do. You actually just smoke yourself to your normal stoner self. Sounds like it's time for you to take a break if you want to really feel high again. A break is not just a few days btw. Think week or two for a medium change. A month or more for a mind blowing one.
That advice is only for one who wants to really get stoned but does not need weed for daily functioning.
If you need weed to function on the daily then you are an addict. Yes weed is addictive. Do not fall into the propaganda machine. If you need weed to feel normal then you are addicted. I have been many times. It's common.

No more addicted than some people to their morning coffee.
Habitual is probably a better word, without the heavy connotations of addicted.
