Yeah, they said the athletes would have to train to handle the pollution or their performance would be effected (less oxygen).
Some countries also said that they may recommend that people with breathing problems not go to the Olympics. China doesn't like that, though, so they have been doing everything they can to reduce pollution and convince the western governments not to issue that travel warning. The levels they are aiming for are unobtainable, though, so they're at the mercy of foreign governments.

That shit can not be good. Overpopulation is such a serious problem man we need to hand out mass amounts of birth control or better yet a plague needs to come by and wipe about 70% of us out. Athletes shouldn't have to put up with that shit.
