Hello all you marijuana experts out there. I am not a grower, but I have been a bug fan of sexy Mary Jane since I was 14 years old. Anyway, I have a couple questions. But first, some context: I heard somewhere on an online article(I think it was Erowid.org, one of the best psychoactive drug info Megabases in the world) that dried marijuana buds (the ones that are ready for smoking) can be further enhanced in the THC-content (aka: made more potent) by putting the buds in a airtight container with some frozen CO2 (Dry Ice).
Has anyone heard of this claim before? Has anyone here tried it before? Did it work?
A more broad question would be: Does anyone know any techniques/methods that can make my very small supply of dried buds more potent?

I know of no way... It just doesnt seem logical. After its cured i dont see how anything could change it except for make it lose thc. Strain, the way its grown, harvest/curing are all i know of..

make hash or dry sift with the bud. once you collect all those trichomes off the bud it'll be more potent.

to get the most out of your flowers you have to do 3 things correctly, grow, dry, and cure, now thats as potent as your herbs gonna get.

Thanks for all your helpful comments; i guess the strain, growing environment, and the this so called "curing" technique that I have never heard of (probably because I'm a big doobie noobie) are what determines a buds end-result potency.
And thanks to "TheNewGuy" for the big, beautiful picture of the dry sift substance. That's definitively something new that I have never seen before in my bud-smoking career.
One question for YellowNotePad, I know what "molly" is (pure MDMA), but what is "elf spice"? Is that DMT? or maybe its a supernatural spice that doesn't exist? And one more thing, although its not really a topic for the "TheGrowery": Can you smoke "molly" and get all the effects of the MDMA?

lol so far as i know, you cannot smoke mdma, and yes elf spice = dmt.

Holy crap, i just took a guess on the elf spice equaling DMT! Yes! I bet its named that because of what Terrence McKenna experienced when he smoked it, which he describe as "a visitation from the machine elfs". Also, I heard its a common hallucination among people who smoke a lot of DMT at one sitting. Thanks for the cool new drug slang yellownotebook!

I prefer ayahuasca though, lasts MUCH longer (about 60-70 times longer.) and isn't really much less intense.
