Here is what me and my friend did to get a 1 1/2 kilo plant. (This was in his back yard, so we tended to it every day.) (Note, this is the southern hemisphere we are talking about, plus we live in the absolute best place to grow ever, Mossel Bay, South Africa, it has the second most moderate climate in the world, second to Hawaii, and we don't really have to worry about cops here.)
Strain: Jack Herrer x Swazi/Durban (not sure which, some local good stuff.) We made the cross ourselves. Plant seeds 30 July (My birthday, a bit more than a month before the start of spring.) and grow in a very sunny room. (It gets 6 hours direct sunlight and the whole day indirect.) When plants get 1 1/2ft tall (if you took good care of them, 1st September.) Replant into giant pots. (I mean big here, the pot is 3.5ft high and 3ft wide.) Soil mix to use: At the bottom of pot put rocks in, I used rose quartz to give it some crystal energy. On top of that mix in a lot of bonemeal with the soil. 1 part bonemeal for every 3 parts of the best potting soil you can find. Fill this up till 2ft of pot is left. For the rest of the pot use 20% Chicken shit, a handful of live earthworms, and 80% potting soil. Leave the last 5 inches with perlite. Every time you water, add fish emulsion to your water. Use a double dose every 4ft time you water. Keep in direct sunlight for the entire day, it gets BRIGHT here. Do not trim the plant or anything, just let it grow, for the whole season. With this method your plant should grow from beginning August to Mid March in veg, and then flower till late may. If you had sufficient sunlight and your plants root system got to the bonemeal before flowering, and you use good genetics, you can grow a kilo plus plant. This is the method me and my friend used, and we go1 a 1500g plant.
