-------------------- "Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded." - Abraham Lincoln

I'll post my first bong and pipe later.
The bong is so lame lol. Its only 8 inches tall, but fuck did it rip back in the day. Now I burn the whole bowl in 1 hit haha.
My first PIPE was metal, and my friend "borrowed" it when we were in like 7th grade, and his fucking mom threw it away. That cunt.
But I have my first glass pipe still

And hold us at the center while the spiral unwinds.
It's knocking over fences, crossing property lines,
Four winds cry until it comes...

Interesting shape. Never smoked out of one quite like that. Here's a thick glass pipe purchased by a housemate in 2002/2003 Santa Cruz:

I've got some nice shit but who doesn't? Only thing I have of real interest is a power hitter from 1977 according to it's label. A family hand me down. Pics wouldn't do it justice. Would take a vid clip of it in action. Maybe Stoney and I will get down to that in the near future. Don't expect faces. You don't want to see them anyway. lol

Back then, Daddy's had two locations within a few blocks of each other which displayed some of the finest glass work I've ever laid my eyes upon. Unfortunately their "Museum" store has since closed, and even their original digs have been converted into a medical dispensary. Though they sport the same name, the conversion has resulted in a vastly reduced selection of paraphernalia. Disappointing, but it was cool to stroll by the other week and shoot the shit with a kid who was my age and also remembered Daddy's during its hay day.
Ten years on and I still have this piece, though I only bust it out on special occasions. Too much smoke and concern for my health has led me to use my vaporizer almost exclusively these days.
Have you any pieces of historic proportion that have withstood the tests of time?
wow i never thought we would have anything in common but i bought my very first pipe from daddys pipes when i was just fucking 12 rofl i walked in there and got kicked out then i paid some mexican to buy me a pipe and he got me the shittiest 1 but hey it worked haahahah
