Darkest purple strain?

I noticed that some of the outdoor growers near me have been growing a lot of purple weed. I am sure it helps with the flyovers and will keep people from noticing it w/ google earth.
What is the most highly pigmented strain of cannabis that is worthwhile to grow?

Outdoor strains especially if they are purple strains will turn darker purple than they normally would indoors. It has to do with nutrients and something else I still don't ever remember.
Amethyst Bud
Is very dark but I have never seen it personally just what people say.

The darkest purple bud I've ever seen is The Black from BC Bud Depot. This bud is covered in trichomes and it will put you to sleep in a second if you let it. Very dark and very narcotic. Really great before bed, especially if you're like me and have trouble sleeping unassisted.

Outdoor purple will go way darker, especially if it grows past the first frost. Cold really brings out the color. Even some strains that are predominantly green will turn purple if left out past the frost. Like Burmese for instance.

I wonder why THEIR "bc mango" is labeled "KC mango" in their own picture?

Yes it's something like that. I read a nice article on it but for the life of me I never can remember exactly why it happens...I'll keep this window open and when I get back shortly I will find that article for everyone.

The reason they turn purple is because the darker color attracts and holds the most 'heat energy' from the sun. After the frost, the plants turn purple because darker colors absorb more of the suns rays and turn it into heat energy.
For instance, a house with white shingles on its roof will reflect more heat and light than a house with black shingles on its roof. A house with black shingles absorbs the suns heat. Same goes for plants.
If a plant can hold more heat from the sun by turning purple, it will, so that it can continue to live longer than it normally would under optimum conditions.

That may be partially true but I can turn a plant purple just by nute deficiency as well as temp changes. Stressing the plant in any way will do this...Or can do this I should say.
