You seriously can't do these? it's like the most basic part. Easy as fuck use your textbook.

haha shit now i feel bad for asking. im just high and literally do not want to walk over to my desk and sit down and do it. in all reality though, i do need to get my head back in the physics mindset so i might as well just do the shit. one semester of it and ill never see it again.

Yea you really did...These questions are worded a little different and the conversions are a little more difficult...But it's the same principals.

you could have finished your homework in the time it took to type out the questions

"Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded." - Abraham Lincoln

to one who is striking at the root"

fuck this shit, havent had a science class since high school, but have to take this gen ed physics class in order to graduate this semester. BULLSHIT m8s! i really doubt anyone wants to do these for me, but i figured id just throw it out there since i know we got some smart junkies in here (even though a 12 yr old could probably do half of these)

Problems

Note:
Show all you work CLEARLY including all equations, conversion factors, and units.

1. (1 pt) Use powers of ten notation and proper units to rewrite the following quantities: (a) 0.05 micrometer (b) 8 gigabytes (c) 1200 nanoseconds (d) size of a virus = 0.0000001 m.

2.  (1 pt) The world’s highest waterfall is Angel Falls in Venezuela at 979 meters. Express its height in feet and in miles.

3.  (1 pt) density=mass/volume. Mercury is a liquid metal with a density of 13.6 g/cm3. What is the mass of 10.0 cm3 of mercury?

4.  (1.5 pts) density=mass/volume. What volume of aluminum (density = 2.10 g/cm3) would be needed to balance a 5.00 cm3 sample of lead (density = 11.4 g/cm3) on a two-pan laboratory scale? If the aluminum is shaped into a cube, what is the length of each side of the cube (volume = (side)3)?

LOL, you're an idiot.

You will never pass this semester if you cannot do these problems.

what kind of physics are you taking? that is really, really basic stuff.
