A helo is expensive and the FLIR unit would work better on the ground when they are looking for hot spots. Basement windows, side windows, even a vent out of the roof would show up from the ground...there really isn't much to justify using it from the air unless they have cash to burn.

They are not going to go out with flir to look for small grows. Also it's not like we found it kick it in now. They would have to take the findings back to some headquarters or station and the raid on you would be coming from a bunch of SUV's pulling up out front.
If your not pussing 10000 watts or more there not looking at you. In fact in Cali you can go to PG&E and tell them your a grower and show your script and get your power rates reduced.

Well not everyone that grows weed lives in "Cali".......honestly I get sick of hearing this and that about Cali.......it gets pretty damn boring.

Dude, people have been busted with a 250 watt before. And no they can wait out front while someone calls a judge and gets a verbal warrant.
You would be so surprised how many places in the US or around the world have very cozy closed legal systems that serve only their own interests.
they cover up each others mistakes so much that it is out right dictatorship......in fact their never was democracy when people write laws and what you have to say no matter how factual it is......gets nothing but a messenger service.

Yeah I don't blame ya there but considering the majority of weed grown in this country comes from Cali, most new strains, and the coolest weed laws are in Cali I don't know what to tell ya.
