i just want to know why rating got taken away, when it was legit.
oh well, like was said. this place is really (i know it was just a joke in the past) turning into the pub
what made this place great was the freedom, the people, and the community.
and we are losing it one by one.

I purged some trade ratings that were not immediately verifiable, since it appeared as though people were simply trying to "trade" trade ratings. This thesis was supported by the fact that a group of 3 - 5 people had all rated each other, they each had limited to zero participation in the Lot forum (or when they did it was only to comment and not as a seller or a buyer), in addition to the content of the ratings which often read something along the lines of "hey have some of these dank headies bro" or "thanks for the kilo of..." or "I'll have to return another pack mule", etc.
Trade ratings are used to gauge the reliability of a trader here and should ideally have a Lot thread to back them up. I understand of course that some trades are conducted privately, but given the dubious circumstantial evidence surrounding the ratings that I deleted, I figured it would be best to wipe the slate clean in order to set a clear precedent that trade ratings are not to be used for anything other than a trade - and that when they are, they ought to contain some level of detail about the transaction and why it was a positive or negative experience. They should NEVER allude to the transaction of illegal substances, as that portrays us as a drug transaction hub - which is DEFINITELY not something we are trying to become and in fact do our best to discourage.
If you wish to PM myself the date of the communications (prior to yesterday's date of course) pertaining to trades related to trade ratings I have deleted; I will verify the communications and you can by all means go ahead and re-submit your ratings for legitimate trades. But if you don't have PM's or a Lot thread to back up a trade, no dice. If you do, please don't go runnin' your keyboard about trading illegal items and make sure that you include a reason for why or why not the trade was successful.
Any other commentary should be confined to general ratings only.

I'm guilty. I was left an unsolicited bad one and traded edits to get it up to a good one at least rather than complaining. Didn't think about the illegals with it obviously being a joke. Sorry and thanks for cleaning that shit up. At least in my case.

so for a trade rating we must have a lot thread/post in anothers thread. and varifying that every step of the way happened?
i do all my trades through pm's, never public. no i dont ship illegal things, i just like to be private.
im sorry that you couldnt verify things, but at least in my case (with my whopping 1 rating) i really had traded.
but i guess at this point we know who is who and can just say fuck the trade ratings.
really not trying to ride your ass geo, i just see all these changes happening that are making this more and more a place i dont want to be. but, in the end its my decision to stay, not yours. so do your thing guess. it just sucks, this was a good community.

Look man, I'm not tryin' to take away all the fun but I do need this place to operate in an efficient manner that will welcome new members and not put the site in any legal jeopardy. Trade ratings aren't meant for BS (that's why we have the option to leave general ratings). And as I noted above, I understand that many trades are conducted through Private Message, which is why I told you to PM me with the date of your communications so that I can verify.
This is obviously not something that will typically be required of the trade ratings system, but it is something I am requesting for the reimplementation of the ratings I deleted since they honestly seemed very unrealistic. Perhaps if you actually would have left some commentary specifically pertaining to your trade in the trade rating, I wouldn't have been so suspicious? Afterall, I didn't delete all of TDDD's ratings (though I did remove a couple and it looks like I was right on the money with those).
