Ok so I got 3 seeds from a friend a few days ago and I put them in a wet paper towel but I'm not seeing any growth, its been about 4 days. Is there still hope that they could germinate?

Are they being kept warm, I wrap mine in a paper towel and put it in a plastic bag, then just put it someplace dark for a few days. Wait a few more days, otherwise toss'em

just drop them in a cup of water and put in on a TV or something fairly warm
if they dont show a root within a couple more days just toss em

agree
standard walmart/cheapo brand bags w/ a sealer & wet paper towel w/ air pocket.... it humidifies up like a greenhouse, and any worthy seed in 48 hrs will def b germinated

This is how I germinate my seeds, works for me.
What you'll need is a ceramic cup, enough plexy glass to cover the cup, and a common desk lap. Fill the cup with warm water, drop in the seeds. Put the plexy on top of cup, and put it under the light. Usually any good seeds will sprout in 48-72 hours.
