i'm sorry i keep naysaying in these threads, but he WILL NOT do anything that will upset the status quo, at least in regard to the medical-industrial and military-industrial complexes.

but good luck all in your campaign for change. hopefully he will listen to this grassroots movement, but i have a feeling that the will of the people will be ignored by our ruling class just as it was overwhelmingly against the bailout.
the problem is not in the executive branch, though it is easy to cast blame on the one person with the most concentrated power. the problem really is with congress. if you do not contact your elected reps, they will not represent u. and if you're in a minority constituency, like myself (being a libertarian republican), you don't get represented for shit. but i contact my reps a lot. so i get to bitch if they fuck up cuz i keep tellin them "i told you so!"
so keep posting on the internet to obama that u want weed legal, in the meantime, i'm smokin fat greens thanks to prop 215

they filter the questions because they want to prevent any true grassroots movement from occurring.
the movement behind obama was not grassroots. it was media inspired. once people saw on the tv that a black man had a chance, then they signed up. who was the front runner at the beginning? obama? tons of people trying to get him elected? no. it was all behind hilary. some kind of grassroots 
ending the federal reserve is probably the top reason i voted for ron paul. the federal reserve caused the great depression. the federal reserve is going to cause another great depression. the federal reserve is responsible for the boom and bust business cycle. the federal reserve is responsible for devaluing the dollar over 90 percent since 1913. does it make sense to you that 9 PRIVATELY owned commercial banks that have no official government standing loan money to the federal government on behalf of the treasury department AT INTEREST? why should the federal govt, which has the power under congress to coin and regulate money for itself, pay private corporations to issue currency? look into JFK's executive order 11110. even he apparently was against the federal reserve.
what's the number one federal expenditure? entitlements (ie welfare, social sec, unemployment, etc). what's number 2? paying interest on the national debt.
kp i know you're no fool, so please take a moment and look what is going on. if you follow the money, you see where the problems are, who causes them, and how to fix them.

just read a few articles on those sites about the fed. tons of great info on the greatest evil in our modern global society that is centralized banking.
in a year or two, don't be wondering why hyperinflation has set in. the reason is painfully clear: the 2 trillion dollars the fed as created since September has not yet come into circulation. once it does, you'll see prices rise so fast it'll make your head spin. keep this in mind: the policies instituted by FDR to combat the great depression have been shown to have prolonged and worsened the depression. letting the market correct itself is the fastest way to restart an economy. the ruling class knows as much about planning an economy as we do.
if we are to right ourselves in global standing, we must first change our foreign policy to one of non-meddling, and second end the fed. it won't be done on the internet bugging people entrenched in the medical-industrial complex to legalize something that would put them out of business. SAVE THE RHETORICAL BULLSHIT, HILARY RODHAM CLINTON, CUZ IT AINT GONNA FUCKIN HAPPEN.

he hasn't needed to be sworn in.
his vote on the bailouts, as well as the FISA amendments and the Military Commissions Act has foreshadowed enough of his presidency for me.
sorry i'm pro freedom. i don't think it's right to spy on innocent people. i don't think it's right to forcefully take the money somebody has earned and distribute it ambiguously. i don't think it's right that the democrats were in a frenzy over torture under the bush administration, but now are all of a sudden silent and complicit.

sure, he might be somewhat different in his foreign policy, instead of iraq, lets fuck ourselves up in afghanistan. his monetary policy is a little different too: he'll spend a lot more of money we don't have.
i dont wanna beat this horse, cuz neither of us is going to change positions.
i'm just saying obama is not the solution as promised. i know this now. you will know this eventually.
