Starting a grow log - first time *update 1/27*

So this is my first time growing and i decided to start a log
First of all i want to apologize for the crappy picture quality, i don't have a camera so i have to take them with my webcam
The strains i got are Northern Lights Special and Haze Special from KC brains, ordered through sensibleseeds, got here 2 weeks after order
Soil: 50% peat moss, 30% perlite, 20% compost, a little bit of vermiculite, and dolomite lime to correct the pH.
Light: 2 T12 fluorescent shop lights, for a total of 160 watts right now, 2 of the bulbs are daylight 6500k and 2 are warm white 2700k, I'll probably get one more of them soon, but right now i think it's sufficient, i also have a couple of 26w cfls that i'll put in there to give them some side lighting, but right now i'm using them for something else.
Germination: Seeds were germinated in paper towels in the dark, and as soon as they started showing roots placed in plastic cups filled with soil and about 1 inch of fermiculite on top, hydrated with water with a little bit of oxygen plus plant food to help roots develop.
The northern lights germinated great, all 10 popped within 4-5 days and sprouted 2 days after planting (one failed to sprout for some reason). The haze didn't do so well, two of the seeds were crushed in mail, and out of the 8 remaining i only got one plant, a few other seeds seemed to pop but didn't grow, so i'm really hoping the one i have is female so i can clone the shit out of it.
Noob: so like a true noob that i am i already hurt the plants by being an idiot and giving them some fertilizer, don't know why i did it but they seemed to be fine until two days later i decided to seal up all the holes in the closet so i could give them some co2, and the when i checked them the next morning, temperature shot up to 90+ even with fluorescent lights and the leaves started curling upwards, so i unsealed the tapes and moved them away from the lights, and next day i flushed the soil (I'm thinking they were both heat stressed and nute burned), this was less than a week ago - now the plants seem to have recovered and new growth is looking good, i probably slowed down the growth about 3 days and damaged a few of the leaves which have now turned partially crispy yellow/brown, but new growth is looking good.
anyway here are a couple of pics:
These are 4 of the biggest NLS plants at about 2 weeks after planting the germinated seeds:
I got three more of them that are almost at the same level, and two more that are still small because they germinated/sprouted the latest.
and here is my lone haze special (plz be female) it's less than a week old, seed took like a week to germinate
funny thing about this plant is it's growing kinda weird, the NLS all grew nice and proper, giving leaves in sequence of 2 and 4 and in proper directions, but this one is pushing out like 6 leaves at once and they are growing in like diagonal directions from each other ...lol

oh yeah another thing......i'm planning to transplant the biggest guys sometime pretty soon, but i don't have any pots and don't feel like spending another 50+ bucks on 10 pots, would it be ok to ghetto them into 2L soda bottles?
and also about fertilizer - i have miracle grow plant food, i know it sucks but it seems to be my only option right now i can't really put together anything else - i can get my hands on blood meal and bone meal, but no kelp meal or guano or anything else that's nice and organic. Should i try to order them online or something maybe? If so can anyone suggest good complete ones for veg and flowering i can get online?

Aren't shop light bulbs 15w, so 60w total?
As for pots and fert, I would check out a local hydro shop. One gallon grow bags are perfect for 20c apiece. Get a good set of two part fertilizer while you are there, I recommend the 'Tiger Grow/Bloom' or 'EarthJuice' lines.
Your NL look great. I hope the haze recovers. Keep us updated!

Oh the haze plant is fine, i didn't fertilize it - it's just young, hasn't even been a week since it sprouted.
the shop lights are 48 inch, 40w per bulb, about 13k lumens total.
thanks for the hydro tip, there happens to be a store in my town ill check it out

So I couldn't get any grow bags, but I did find some cheap 1 gal pots, and repotted 7 of the plants yesterday. The haze plant and the two smaller NL are still in cups, I'll probably repot those this weekend or so.
I also managed to get EarthJuice Grow, EarthJuice Microblast, and EarthJuice Bloom nutes. I gave the transplanted ones the grow and microblast at 1 tsp/gal (a bit much on the microblast didn't realize normal dose was only 5 ml) I also added some oxygen plus plant food at 2 tsp/gal, which is half of the recommended dose, to help the roots. Plants got a little droopy after the transplant, but today they sprung back up.
I'll add at least 2 cfls this weekend too, maybe more.
updated pics coming soon

Ok here's the update:
they've been doing pretty damn awesome since the repot, two of NL freaked out a bit seems like a little nute burned, you can see one of them in the bottom left corner there, the other one is too miserable to show right now, it's one of the smaller NL's, i flushed it today hopefully itll get better
here's the tallest and healthiest looking NL, it's about 7 inches tall right now at 3 weeks after sprouting (which is how old most of the plants are)
And this is the haze plant at two weeks since sprouting
i'll probably veg most of the NL for another 1-2 weeks, and the haze plant along with a couple of the small NLs will be vegging a bit longer

aight here's the new update
they've grown quite a bit, alternating nodes starting to appear, can't really tell the sex yet tho, i'll probably give them another week or less of veg and then start flowering
here's the tallest plant 4 weeks old, it's 14 inches tall now, but not as bushy as some of the others, it seems to want to grow more than branch to the sides, i tried hooking it but it just curved around and up lol, so i'll let it grow up since it wants too, my height isn't that limited
here some of the other plants, they are about 10 inches tall but have more side branching
here's the haze plant 3 weeks old
and here's a pic of my setup: plants are in 2 rows, a shop light hangs above each row, and a third shop light hangs upside down inbetween the two
when i start flowering i will get one more shop light and put the plants in the middle between the lights

thanks, yeah i'm pretty surprised myself at how well they're doing i do have one plant that nearly died tho, seems to be recovering now but the growth is way stunted, other than that though i'm loving these plants
just hope i dont get a lot of males, esp not the haze plant i'd be ok with 2-3 females out of the NL as long as the haze is female

Update time week 5
I separated the plants now to start flowering 6 of the biggest NL plants and give the haze along with 2 smaller NL plants and the NL that nearly died (still not looking too hot) some more veg time.
4 of the big NL plants have been sexed already, one was male, three were female, interestingly enough the females turned out to be the 3 biggest plants, and the male was the smallest one out of the six lol, which is surprising because i always hear of the biggest plants turning out to be male.
anyhow here are pics
here's the male that went chop chop, can't tell that well from the pics but there are definite balls there, made some iso has oil, which looked more like resin lol, but it got me high for like 2 days, which is cool cause i've been sober for way too long.
here's the pic of the setup with the 5 remaining plants i repotted 4 of them into 2 gal pots, that's probably what i'll be sticking with due to space restrictions even though they will outgrow these pretty soon too. If i end up with only a few plants in there, then ill probably transfer them into 3 gal pots.
group shot of the 5 plants about to start flowering, 5 weeks old now
Three definite females
tallest female, about 20 inches tall now!
here's the other 4 plants still vegging, under 2 26w cfl's
haze 4 weeks old
and here are the other two NL plants that are still sorta small, first one is about 9 inches tall, second is even smaller

update
out of the sexed plants i only have 3 females, i'm pretty sure the haze is a male also
the females are getting big though, and i'm only a week into flowering
on the plus side i got a camera so i can finally post pics that don't look like shit
here are hairs
