Trail Blazin'
    #16552 - 05/01/08 08:01 PM (16 years, 6 months ago)

So are there any other people here who love blazing out in the woods; exploring off the beaten path? Two friends and I found an epic cliff today. We climbed up this sketchy, steep incline made up of loose rocks only to find the best view we've found while exploring. It beats the other few cliffs we frequent by far.
It's such a great feeling conquering something like that, especially when done in flip flops. The bowl ontop is always fantastic. I shot some photos up there, I just need to finish the roll so I can send it out.

Yea, I realize that quote makes me sound like a dirty hippie.

I assure you I'm not.

Learning to love life by living through loss and mistakes
Lessons learned then gradually surfacing
Letting go, stripping naked to scream
I am not perfect, nor do I strive to be
I am alive in this world of face-first falls and public breakdowns
I'm a retarded, disfigured clown
Dying to be heard for the simple art of letting this heavy wall finally fall
I'm an equal being of no race or color
A hallucination if you will
Sneaking into the lives of strangers and letting them fall apart
To a new rhythm, just to feel better

I love hiking and blazing.

Last time I went hiking with my mom, I found out she's into too .  Before setting out on the trail she called a "Safety Meeting" which consisted of roasting a couple bowls.
