im now on suspension. i went into work today and they pulled me in the office, made me fill out a statement, then said i was suspended until Monday, which then i will probably be fired.
does anyone know any legal actions that i could take?

They suspended you, why, if you walked away you did the right thing. The best thing i could tell you is don't take any action against him. If you stay away he cant accuse you of anything else. Did they suspend him too?

the reason they gave me for suspending me is that i started the argument. i shouldnt have yelled at him for leaving the line off.
its fucking bullshit.
a friend of mine said they suspended me so they can take the time to get everything together and properly fire me so i cant come back with an attorney.
heres my statement:
A guy from first shift stayed over to help out with 2nd shift, my shift, to help clear out some orders. about 2 hours in i asked him to take over while i went to the bathroom. he said ok and i walked off. about 5 minutes later i come back out to the assembly line to see that everything is stopped and to see him just standing around.
I began to yell at him asking why the line was off and what the purpose of him coming in was and he started to mock me and thats when i called him a homosexual in a less proper way. he is gay. right after that i turned to another guy with my back partly towards him and he pushes me hard enough to knock me off balance. i then jump up and get into his face then back up and sort of walk away. it would have been dumb for me too sit there and fight a guy in the middle of the work place. he walks off and i go about my job trying to cool down
Its now lunch time and I'm still mad and need to cool off so i go for a ride and just relax. on my way back into the warehouse we cross paths and he says a few things and some more words are exchanged and i turn around and head out because i really cant lose my job no matter what happens. my little girl will be born on June 13th. as i walk out he comes behind me and starts running his mouth and i can see by the way he is moving he is ready to fight so i get ready to "defend" myself.
A group of people crowd around and a friend of mine gets in front of me and tells me its not worth it and i need my job because i do have a girl on the way. of course he is right and i walk off once again and go back to work.
today i go into work like any other day and im called into the office so they can hear my side of a story and so i can fill out a statement. they then tell me that i will be suspended until Monday and they will then go from there.
