I am sure there are a lot of issues keeping everyone very busy right now. Especially considering you all work on donated time. But an idea came to my mind that I thought I would share.
How about sharing the boards. For example what looks to be a sub forum on the shroomery saying "Marijuana Discussion" or something of the sort, but when they open it they are linked to the growery and the "Marijuana" Section, and vice versa for the shroomery to the mushroom cultivation section.
This suggestion was borne out of a mild confusion on the purpose of this site. With the blending of the user DB, news service, and supporters it appears that these two sites are sisters more than anything. So are these two sites going to be 2 independent entities or a continuation of one community?
Two independent entities is the way to go, in my opinion. Two different sites devoted to two different subjects that will each attract a different demographic of people.

Correct, the idea was to make them two seperate sites.
They are however sister sites and we will probably have some cross linking in certain situations, but something we'll figure out as we grow.
We wanted to let this site grow similar to how the shroomery did, let the users and its growth be determined as we grow not open it with 40 forums and hope it populates
