You will watch tv. And say the volume is at 20 and its not load enough. So you put it at 25. And the next day you turn it on and 25 is blasting loud so you bring it down to 15?

its cause your ears adjust. just like when you walk into a dark room. at first you cant see shit.

i hate when youre out driving around with the music on full fucking blast and you forget to turn that bitch down. then the next morning you fucking turn the car on and blow your drums.

My volume on my TV really does fluctuate. I have been told this by several people. Not sure if it's the cable, cable box, or the TV itself, but it does it.
It's not terribly bad, but it's enough to piss you off. Nice TV too.

not quite so... during the day there are many sound waves defusing the volume before it reaches your ear, thats why at night you can hear the sound at super low volumes and during the day it may sound completely silent.

Commercials are always louder
I usually do the opposite of what you said by turning it down when the commercials are on then turning it up louder than before
