It will probably work. It just sucks buying stuff on the internet when you can't see if it has any design flaws or if something about the system is just inefficient or poorly constructed. You could build a system like that for less and it wouldn't be too complicated. You can get cheap pvc at Habitat for Humanitie's 'Re-Store' which is basically a hardware store full of discounted and used items. They have them in every state all over, but you are in Canada right? Either way you could still make a cheaper one.
Personally I don't like having a lot of smaller plants like that system, but tons of people still use nets that small. I would rather have 10 big plants than 25 small plants, I feel like the weight is the same and all your nugs will be bigger and more trimmable.
With a basic knowledge of how hydroponic systems work I'm positive you could design one for cheaper than that. The shipping and handling is $176!!!!
