 Wild seeds (again)

OK, this time i found some seeds from a local pumpkin patch this last
Halloween. So far i have 5 germinated seeds and i know that someone will laugh but I'm using 3 26 watt 6500k CFL's. pictures will be posted later today.

Yes, i found seeds in a pumpkin patch while picking pumpkins
with my kids.The last batch of wild seed i found was near an
appartment and most of the seeds didn't germinate. I threw
them out. Good old uncle Sam taught me to never give up Sirius.
and more seeds germinated after i added rooting hormone to the soil.

I just transplanted the cup with 4 plants in it so they all are
separate now. I still have 1 cup with 2 plants in it but the 1
I think is too small to transplant. any opinions?

Did you test any of the bud from the plant you got these seeds? How do you know they are not ditch weed (hemp)?
What kind of soil are they in? Is it supposed to be so full of clumps and such?
I would wait awhile to transplant. If you break a delicate tap root at this stage it could spell disaster for your plants.

I wasn't able to test any of the bud. It was all seed. The potting
soil i used isn't the greatest but it's mostly peat and it's clumpy
because i didn't break it up. It's only the top inch or so that's
clumpy when i tapped the cups down and topped them off.
I guess we just have to wait to see if it's hemp or not.

i've seen bud like that in the wild around where i live.. i think its some sort of hemp or ruderalis? we've definitely seen the males and the females, so i know we're not just seeing males, but they always are FULL of seeds. what would look like a calyx with a pistil coming out of it would just have a seed in it.
