What exactly will Mycorrhizae – fungi do with my plants?
A fine network of mycelium covers the roots. This extands the surface area and increases the absorbing capacity of the roots relating to water and nutrient supply. Vital nutrients and trace elements from the fungi are given to the plant. This fact raises the defence of the plant against diseases and pests.
