I've actually seen a meteor like this before when I lived in the mid west. Slightly less luminescent.

And yeah. Tesla was da man. A relative works at a power company warehouse. I've been trying to get him to bring me home a pole transformer. I should have snagged one after Hurricane Fran. they were all over the place up and down my road.

Fuck that. I was standing at my window when I was about 10, and lightning struck a transformer. I have never seen anything that bright, or heard anything that loud since. If I would have been this age now I don't know that my heart would have handled it properly. I honestly think I would have had a heart attack.
Ever since then fuck all this kind of stuff...Scares me.

my friend and I were standing in his garage on July 4th this year, it was storming like a mofo
we were standing right at the entrance, just looking up at the sky
lightning struck a tree about 15 yards from where we were standing, and that shit had to be the loudest and brightest shit I've ever seen
it literally felt like that shit shook the ground

Last time I stopped pissing mid stream was cause of a lightning strike outside of my bathroom window. That was some impressive shit. I probably would have shit if I had any. lol It seems like I saw through my dick but it's probably exaggerated memory. Maybe. Who knows?

Yes, our universe follows sets of laws but all laws that can be put in place by a creator. I think if Hawking can put forth the possibility of a creator that's telling one something. Not that I believe in one but I do believe in the possibility. Everyone cannot deny the possibility. For one to do that they would have to describe the nature in which the universe began and that which preceded the big bang. With the very nature of the singularity I doubt we will truly reach these answers.
It's entertaining to watch people argue however on how they think they have them.
