Creativity on a boring sunday. Hide-a-can
    #145711 - 11/16/08 10:30 PM (16 years, 14 days ago)

So i got bored today and decided to make a mountain dew stash can.
You may notice the inner part being green, i fixed a few scratches and stuff with a green sharpie and then did the inside lid green to make the sill more camouflaged.

I'm still working on the inner part. ran out of silicone.

The edges of the can were filed smooth and then painted green with the sharpie. I might add a thin layer of clear silicone around the edge to make it a little safer lol.

I figure that if this technique was done to a can of v8 tomato juice (everyone knows its nasty) than that stash can would sit in a fridge for 5 years without anyone touching it besides to move it out of the way and into the back.

I like a hole in the ground under a rock among many square miles of possibilities. That also happens to be an easy way for me with a wilderness in my back yard as opposed to those of you who doesn't have such. I could safely stash many kilos of coke. Good thing I hate coke. lol. The can is cool though I may would try drinking it immediately upon discovery however. The V8 may be a better idea.

yeah i am going to once i get the technique down. it took a couple cans to get the lid off without it being noticeable on the final product. when the lid is screwed on all the way the top of the can rests perfectly on the top of the can. A head shop a couple hundred miles from here sells the exact same thing but theirs look like shit and is made of inferior materials and the inner compartment is way smaller. 15 bucks a piece. So i figured id go above and beyond for less money.

yeah i know, just the ones ive seen are complete shit and are very easy to notice have been modified. I'm working on a way to have a little conceiled liquid around the cavity so when its moved around you can feel liquid splashing inside.

Not AQUANET though. Those stash cans are commercially sold.

and then the hair spray can doesnt spray so someone throws it away. Thats the only problem i could see happening.

Also this exact same procedure can be done with canned food too. You can get can openers that will cut the side of the can very precisely so the lid fits snuggly back on top of the can. Thats half the battle.
