can you add calcium carbonate to neutralize/increase Ph of the soil? I would think it would be find since its a base but just want to check I have powdered limestone flour

i use calcium carbonate in my mix to keep the ph right.. it helps keep your mix from becoming to acidic
lots of peeps i know use dolomite lime(spelling?) for the same purpose
