 Voodoo's CFL Lowryder #2 growlog

Sup guys, this is my first grow. I am growing some Lowryders #2 under a 300 watt CFL in my attic. umm that basicly sums it up...
here are the first pics. they all just sprouted today. i originally germed 6 but one spilled out and i lost the seed 
they are outdoors temporarily. i will move them in once i get everything setup in my attic.
i'll post new pics every 10 days of growth.

yea i didnt know they made them either.  i went to lowes today looking to make a fixture with like 6 42 watt floros but i saw this beastly 300 watt bulb sittin on the shelf i snatched it up quick.

Awesome, looking good man! Looks like you got a pretty good germination rate there, besides loosing one (i lost a couple germinated lr#2 seeds myself when i did my lr#2 grow lol.) I'm definitely keeping tuned into this grow :-P
I just started a few lr#2 myself. These babies are just over 1 week old, they just started to pick up speed on vegging.

400 hps sodium with digital ballast. they are under 12/12 since there is a few bigbuds finishing up still.

just realised its not actually 300 watt bulb . its actually 65 watts it says in huge print 300 watts meaning it equals that of regular bulbs. hate how they do that. oh well im goin back to lowes soon to pick up some more blubs

You are probably going to need, at the very least, 8 of those 65w CFLs for 5 plants.

assuming that they're not all females i was planning something like 6 42 watt lights. depending on how many females i get i'll add lights accordingly.
btw hefe grats on that grow of yours those buds looked yum

I would suggest around 3 42w CFLs per plant, but the more the better, of course.

hey do you guys think that 100 watts of CFL light is good enough for veg? i have my 5 babies under 100 watts of cfl right now. they are about 4 days old and lookin great. i plan on putting 100 watts per female once they show their sex (so if i have 4 girls i'll get 400 watts of cfls).
just wondering if 100 watts is good enough for veg or would i benefit from more watts in veg stage?

The more watts, the quicker they will grow. I would try getting at least one 42w CFL per plant, but if 100w is all you can muster for the time being, you should be fine.

hey guys they're alil over a week old now.
    
i just put another 120 watts of floros on them. now they have 220 watts. i took these pics last night and this morning i went to check on them they all look good except one of them has droopy leaves all of a sudden. it has been getting rather cold at night (in the 40s outside but probably 50's in my attic) and the soil has stayed moist for almost 3 days now. im wondering if the leaves drooping is because of overwatering or because of cold. i don't know any ideas?

damn man, good job! those are looking good. I usually notice drooping leaves more when they are very thirsty for water but it could be over watered. Is there holes in the bottom of those 16 oz cups to let excess water out?

Im suprised you got them to grow that fast with a few cfl's. definitely impressed. Hopefully she will get better soon.
