so i gota sack thge other day and found a seed in it. me n my roomate decided to germinate it so now we got a sprout, and i know it could be male but i dont care i just like growing plants, how should i start this newly born seed? potting soil and a cup(ghetto i know) or what? please let me know

haha hell yea man lookin sweet. well today i just got some peat moss and mixed it with some compost soil, and just threw it in a little peat pot. i was reading somewhere that a 450 w bulb would suffice? yea or no?

450 watts for one plant is overkill also it depends on what type of bulb. floro, hps and metal halid are all worthy of growin weed.

cool, just 1 more question, what should the timing for lighting be
when its at this stage, its about an inch tall and it has the first 2 leaves.

Probably around 18:6-24:0 hours light. At least thats what id do.

as in moldy hairy? are the seeds you talking about on the plant or in wet paper towels? cause if its in the plant it might just be trichomes but if its in a wet paper towel its most likely mold.
