 big project, need help quick! best method for making a large amount of hash??

Hey guys I'm new to the forum, thought I could get a little bit of advice from some professionals in the field.. haha.
A friend and I have been getting a lotta good quality pot recently and have been collecting all the trimmings, shake, and pop-corn nuggets that just happen to accumulate, nothings too smoke-able as it is to go towards hash I figure. We want to be able to make enough hash to last us at least a little while..
I read Hanky's thread and the 25% hash to marijuana ratio really turned me on to the idea of Acetone-Extraction hash, it seems very do-able and not entirely too complex.
But we're also trying to do this with a large amount of pure pot, anywhere from a quarter pound to a full pound, and not shwag.
Would it be best to invest in a set of bubble bags? Because thats what I've been thinking would be the best course. It seems like they can do a bigger job.. quicker?
Anybody have any advice on which method, size bags, way to go about preparing the pot beforehand, and possibly a comparison between the two methods and the yield from either?

how would i go about extracting from a pound of pot? just use bigger receptacles and more acetone?

well yea, i would use hankys' method of screening first for a pile of kief to then use as a "flour to knead the dough" to work into the oily residue to make balls.. as similar as i can.. to his. haha.

BTW, that would leave you with oil, not solid hash
in other words, you're combining the whole soak, strain, resoak steps into one big soak-n-squeeze off session? with the possibility for repetitions.. which i think would be necessary with a pound of bud, even after being busted and sifted for pure kief.

but would it be better to jar up multiple batches of bud and strain them multiple times each or just do it all at once all together and do that a couple times thru with the acetone and then possibly use a 25 micron screen to allow just the pure thru and keep the muck out?
im brainstormin people, its a big operation and im goin for precise here.
