ya ive heard several countries who mock our roads for being so inferior
ours are only a few inches thick and are super bumpy
since we started first we have crappy roads

they've "re-paved" the streets that surround my house, and to me the road is still shitty.  don't know if that makes much of a difference, but i'd love to hit corners like them dudes in the vids

i've seen videos/pics and studied it in class, it's gonna be one of the biggest tourist destinations ever. it's beautiful and attracting so much investment. it's actually very interesting to hear about it. oil money.

a better explanation would be they are very conservative and very religious. is this bad? no.

you obviously haven't seen:
(yes some images are computer rendered just picked first results off google images)
the whole point of the islands are for tourism and to attract business.
just because it's not natural does not make it not beautiful. in my opinion at least.

isn't that country a basis for all the futuristic construction and building design? i remember reading that a lot of the new engineering designs are taking place in the desert. let alone the nice ass cities that are in the works

I forgot about the Islands and the palm tree island. i saw thoughs. But the skyscapers are AMAZING. When 60 minutes did a special on Dubai, it was just becoming a big thing.
Im willing to bet many big buisnesses will be stationed there.

yeah they are doing a hell of a lot now.
they have so much money they don't know what to do with it. one of their biggest financial management guys came and talked to our class (actually from KY, if you want to know his name i'll look it up but his daughter goes to my school and this nigga is loaded).
they also don't want to be dependent on oil.
(when doing research this wasn't directly sourced to dubai but: used to oil would pay for every citizen to live comfortably and provide jobs/pension for everyone. now the younger generation has to get jobs and actually do something).
