My First Grow ~ Maysrome~ Outdoors & Future CFL

September 8th, 2008 I planted approximately 65 seeds I'd collected over a few dub sacks. I planted them in some very fertile soil, a mixture of worm-fertile peat moss, and cow manure.
Within five days I had twenty plants, some were four inches tall.
About two weeks later, when it started getting pretty cool at night here, i transferred them during the day to some of those small plastic party cups. We saved probably fourteen decent plants, and six more seedlings that may have a long shot.
They were moved indoors to a friends house, in front of a open window, and i have been watering them daily. I plan to get some CFL lighting soon. I figure this will work a little longer.

Looking decent. Get them under some CFL's (40-80 watts). Also, opaque cups would be better so no light on roots. When you transplant to larger containers bury the stems almost up to the cotyledons (the little roundy leaves) to better support the stem and promote root growth along the stem you buried.

Right now. Your pictures in the first post don't work, but I see that they are in your gallery. For example:
Those stems are far too stretched, and the best thing you can do is transplant right now, making sure to bury the entire stem on every single plant, right up to the bottom of the first leaves. A stem on a healthy plant with that amount of leaves should only be a centimeter or two tall. Then you need to make sure you have enough of the right kind of light right above them so that the stretching doesn't happen again.

get those CFL's on asap, the light you have been using doesn't seem very strong, all of your seedlings would flourish
