im so pumped. but now i dunno what to do with this thing to avoid getting seeded bud across the board. i've got a male blue mystic (and two females) and a boatload of super silver haze girls. i'm thinking to make a batch of F2 blue mystics, and a batch of blue mystic x super silver haze.
and if you're wondering, blue mystic is from nirvana, and a cross of skunk and blueberry.
so anyone have any thoughts on teh crossing? the male grew really really fast and strong and has already developed a good bud set before everything else in the flower room, which makes me think it will bring along strong growing genes that flower fast right?
so whats my best bet for using this guy to knock up selected females without tainting my grow space?

I stole this from another post I made:
Quote:
One of my botany professors showed me a trick for selective pollinating one time.... Catch a honey bee or a bumble bee or any type of bee really. Proceed to put it in the freezer for about 2 hours. Take it out, remove the head and impale the thorax with a tooth pick. Use the body of the bee to rub on the male flowers to collect pollen, then rub it on the female flowers to pollinate. The bee body can hold many times more pollen than a q-tip or paint brush, and is much more resistant to air currents removing some of that pollen (without giving up the ability to rub off the pollen) and accidentally pollinating unwanted females.
Now to make sure you don't seed everything you have to keep the male separate from the female. Go into the male room, collect some pollen, drop the bee body or q-tip or whatever into a ziplock bag and seal it up. Next go change your cloths, shower, and wash the outside of the bag. Then go into the female room, slowly open the bag and gently brush some pollen off on only the select few females you want to impregnate. Put the bee body back in the bag and walk out slowly.
Sounds like you have some great genetics there. Good luck!
