In Front lawns that are in pretty recent neighborhoods, weilii thrive on wood based substrate so sawdust and scraps from recently built houses (well like within the past 8 years or so)
Also near loblolly pines (three needles, brown bark) and sweetgums ,whether that be trees next to grass or trees in the woods
It hasnt rained in a while so good luck, I have never looked for them in the city BTW but I have heard of people finding them
