it seems this is one of those rare times when I agree with you.
a few years back when I first started smoking in hs my friend got a Dui with a white lighter in his possesion, the next day i use it to smoke a bowl and when i jokingly say that its bad luck he gives me the lighter to keep, And I take it. Later that night I broke a bong for the first and so far only time.
Then later another friend who ended up with the lighter left it out at his parents and they searched his room, and found weed.
all this happened years ago and the guy who got the dui still won't even smoke with white lighters. It's fucking retarded, like I can understand superstitions back in the days when science was still in its infancy, or non-existent but in the modern world we live in to even have the slightest bit of worry that white lighters are bad luck is just fucking silly.
But those 3 unfortunate occurences with a white lighter were enough to convince 2 supposedly rational and intelligent people that what ever color paint was sprayed on a piece of plastic can somehow influence their fortunes.
I just don't get superstitious people.
