What's wrong with the UBB code for the pictures? Did I fuck something up?

Here's a picture of the ladies (hopefully) about 2 weeks ago:

Last Sunday, after only 3 weeks of vegging, the lights were flipped to 12/12 to induce flowering since the CFLs have limited light penetration and can only support a plant up to 20 inches.

Here they are today (9/14) after one week of flowering:

Apparently, there's nothing wrong with how you inserted them. Pasting them in my post works just fine. For some reason though, no images work in your first post. I was trying to edit your post and see if it would work for me, but it didn't. I'll submit this one for Ythan to sort out.

They look pretty nice, but there does seem to be something up with them, especially noticeable in the last two pictures. What kind of soil do you have them in, and what kind of nutrients are you giving them?

Also, I've got to mention that its always the best idea to fill your pots up to nearly the top. When you fill them only half way, you're taking away a lot of space the roots need, and more roots is always better. What is the size of those pots, by the way? Its possible that those problems I'm noticing could just be from them being in need of a transplant... probably not too late to do one, actually... What I'm talking about is those different burnt areas and spots, and the difference in color between leaves from the same plant.... Nothing too serious, but it could definitely get a lot more serious if what's causing it isn't stopped...

Thanks for making a grow log, man! :jah:

They are in MG Organic Potting Mix (I now realize MG is horrible for growing herb, but this is mainly a learning experience) mixed with perlite and vermiculite (50/35/15%). We just started giving them a diluted Super Bloom solution (1tsp in a gallon of water). Also, we recently realized our pH level in our water was very very high.

So they've been fed once (~4 days ago) with Super Bloom, as well as just starting to get watered with the correct pH ~4 days ago.

We also realized we had made a mistake in not filling the pots (3 gallons btw) to the very top, so we actually cut the excess plastic off allowing for more light penetration on the sides.

They actually look a bit better than they did a week ago, so we are hopeful :sun:

BTW, thanks for getting those pics to show up in your post!

We will definitely be revamping the closet after harvest as well. Investing in some W/B Poly to replace that ugly aluminum foil. Blech.

as long as it's organic there's nothing wrong with MG.  Just don't use any other their ferts.

I'm definitely glad you made this grow log, those ladies are looking beautiful and healthy. I don't quite recall, but where they bag-seed, or known genetics?

Looking at the droopy-leafed plant, the zoom-in on that one leaf specifically, I notice some discoloration happening there. Considering this and that it isn't responding to the variance in watering, it would seem to be a problem with nutrient-uptake, be it pH, imbalance of nutrients in the soil, or just having a deficiency. I'm not the greatest with diagnosing problems yet, but I'd definitely recommend getting some more detailed shots of that plant and post in Doctor's Diagnosis with all the relevant information.

When is the last time you watered them and how much? How do you know they are not completely soaked? Do you weigh your pots? I would not give any water unless you are sure it's not from too much water. It looks like over-watering, but I'm not an expert.

edit: Great CFL grow journal!

Let it go for more than a couple days before watering, plants in dirt can go a looooong time without water before anything happens no reason to keep watering until your sure.
